Barney Voice Actor Hopes to Return for New Animated Series

With a new Barney cartoon show in the works, original voice actor Bob West says he’s ready and willing to reprise that role. Recently, Mattel announced that the Barney franchise was getting revived with new TV and film content in development. That includes an all-new animated series starring the purple dinosaur, set to arrive in 2024. Mattel also unveiled our first look at the new animated Barney, shown in the image above.
